GET INVOLVED
The EB Space has always been about more than conversations - it’s about the people who show up, share honestly, and help each other do the work better. As the community grows, there are opportunities be a little more involved - supporting connection, storytelling, events, care, or the long-term direction of the space. These roles are voluntary, flexible, and designed to fit around real jobs and real lives. They’re not about hierarchy or status, and there’s no expectation to take one on. If you’d like to help shape the space alongside others who care deeply about it, here are some of the ways you can get involved.

HELP SHAPE THE SPACE
The EB Space is intentionally built and led, with opportunities for members to get involved and contribute in different ways. Everyone who joins the community is a Spacer - and some Spacers choose to support the space more actively through a small number of voluntary roles that strengthen connection, storytelling, events, community wellbeing, and the long-term direction of The EB Space.
We believe that contributing time and energy should be recognised. As a thank you, Spacers who take on these roles receive free access to local paid EB Uncut events, wherever possible. As the community grows, our intention is to move towards paid contributions over time, ensuring those who help shape The EB Space are properly valued.
All roles are voluntary, flexible, and designed to fit around real jobs and real lives. There’s no expectation to get involved — but if one of these ways of contributing feels right, we’d love to explore it with you.

🌎 Connector
Be the local spark
Connectors help bring The EB Space to life locally. They’re the friendly faces who welcome new members, spark conversation, and help people feel connected, whether that’s through driving conversation in the space, light-touch intros, or hosting local EB UNCUT events in your area.
If you enjoy connecting people, spotting shared interests, and helping others feel at home in a community, this role is a lovely way to make a real impact without heavy commitment.
✍️ Storyteller
Share what makes this space special
Storytellers help amplify the best of The EB Space — its conversations, events, and moments — beyond the platform. This might mean shaping social posts, helping with event promotion, or capturing reflections and highlights that show what the community is really about.
If you love storytelling, writing, or spotting meaningful moments worth sharing (and you care about authenticity over hype), this role lets you help the community’s voice travel further - with care and intention.
🎤 Producer
Make great events happen (behind the scenes)
Producers support EB Uncut events and sessions behind the scenes, helping everything run smoothly and feel thoughtful for speakers and attendees alike. From prep and logistics to live support or follow-up, Producers are the calm hands that help great conversations land well.
If you enjoy making things happen, supporting others, and being part of something without needing to be centre stage, this is a hugely valued role.
👥 Steward
Protect the culture and the people
Stewards help look after the heart of The EB Space. They support new members, uphold community guidelines, and act as a point of contact if something doesn’t feel right. This role is about care, trust, and creating a space where people feel safe to be honest.
If you’re thoughtful, empathetic, and care deeply about inclusive, respectful communities, being a Steward is a meaningful way to help protect what makes this space work.
⏱️ Spacekeeper
Help guide what comes next
Spacekeepers support the long-term direction of The EB Space. They offer perspective, challenge, and lived experience to help sense-check ideas, spot blind spots, and ensure the community grows without losing its values.
If you enjoy big-picture thinking, thoughtful challenge, and shaping things behind the scenes — without needing formal authority — this role is about influence, care, and stewardship rather than decision-making.
