That's what makes it work

The EB Space is a global community for employer brand and talent teams. Built to be inclusive in mindset but exclusive in who it’s for, it brings together people actually doing the work - no paywalls, no selling, just honest conversations, shared challenges, and practical support. Membership is limited to in-house practitioners to keep the space trusted and peer-led. Agencies and vendors can still partner with us - but through contribution, not access.

Becoming a member

Who can join?

The EB Space is a global community for employer brand and recruitment marketing practitioners and it’s exclusive by design. Our goal is to support the employer brand and recruitment marketing community around the world through honest conversation, brilliant events, and practical resources. Whether you're just starting out or years into the work, this is a space to connect with peers, share challenges, work through situations, and level up together -all to push our industry forward. We’ve kept the community intentionally tight and focused: no agencies, no selling, no paywalls. Just real talk from people doing the work.

How do I join?

You can sign up to space using this link. and your application will be vetted by our admins. We will make sure you are doing the work before inviting you to join the community on Circle.

How do you review members?

Our vetting process is really simple - we look at your LinkedIn profile. We just want to understand the work you do. We appreciate that sometimes a job title isn't always descriptive of the role so if we have any questions, we will reach out and ask.

If your employer is / you lead an agency in the space of 6 people or more, than we won't allow you to join to protect the integrity of our community because it is for practitioners. However we are open to discussion so please reach out to us if you think you should be part of it.

How long does it take to review members?

We aim to get back to all membership enquiries within 5 days. Whilst we will try and aim for 5 days there are occasions where this may take longer so if you haven't hear from us please reach out. There has been a slight delay in membership enquiries from March 2026 due to technical issues, this is being resolved.

Our community rules

Trust

Our core principle is to keep the community confident, respectful, and safe. We follow Chatham House rules - what’s shared here stays here. This creates space for open conversations. Please respect each other’s privacy and what’s shared.

Respect

Treat others how you’d like to be treated. We don’t tolerate any form of discrimination - including racism, sexism, xenophobia or harassment. Everyone deserves to feel safe, equal and welcome in this space.

Equality

Everyone has a voice here. Share your insight, but also listen. Not everyone has the same experience, so be kind - no question is a silly one, and we’re all here to learn from each other.

Integrity

Sharing is encouraged - copying isn’t. If someone shares work or an idea, give credit where it’s due. This community thrives on generosity and respect, not imitation.

Boundaries

No spam. No unsolicited DMs. If you receive messages that feel off, please flag it to us at hello@theebspace.com so we can step in if needed.

Confidentiality

This is a space for honest discussion - which sometimes includes sensitive topics or people you may know. Everything shared here stays here. Please protect that trust.

Help shape the space

The EB Space has always been about more than conversations - it’s about people showing up, sharing honestly, and helping each other do the work better. As the community grows, there are ways to get more involved. Everyone here is a Spacer. Some choose to contribute more actively - supporting connection, storytelling, events, care, and the direction of the space.

Our roles:

  • ConnectorsStart conversations on Circle. Bring people together. Keep things moving.

  • Storytellers. Help us run our social media - capture what’s happening and share it.

  • Coordinators. Plan it. Shape it. Help us bring our events to life.

  • Spacekeepers. Support membership and sense-check where the space is heading.

These roles are voluntary (for now), flexible, and fit around real jobs and real lives. No hierarchy. No expectation. We do recognise the time and energy that takes. As a thank you, those contributing get free access to local paid EB Uncut events where possible - with a longer-term aim to move towards paid contributions.

If it feels like your kind of thing, we would love to hear from you - hello@theebspace.com
